This beret was created from a silk kimono with lovely butterflies on the fabric with small dots in a pattern called komon.
The band is made of soft obi, which is soft to the touch.
The lining is decorated with the traditional Japanese Hyakunin Isshu (100 poems) pattern and old Japanese words.
